I came across this hilarious video yesterday. Simply called "Stop Looking At Your Phone" it's a pretty cool parody of Downton Abbey highlighting our dependence on our phones. It's done by "The Britishes" who I had never heard of before. The script is well put together and putting aside the terrible English accents it is very funny. The bit at the end with the Titanic had me in fits of laughter. And yes I know what you are thinking...I did watch it on my phone.

Clearly this ferret does not spend a lot of time on the internet. If he had of he would have come across loads of videos showing cats failing miserably at attempting jumps just like this one. Talking about cats have you checked out Jedi Cats?

Sometimes life can be very cruel as this poor, sweet little girl finds out. Fortunately, her painful life lesson turned into a prize-winning video on "America's Funniest Home Videos." Lets hope that now her father, the guy with slow reflexes, should be able to buy her a new toy fairy. He just needs to keep it far away from the fireplace this time.

OK this is definitely one of the better Halloween pranks that I have seen. Also, if you are looking to count your blessings a little early this year, be thankful that you weren't the guy in the elevator at the end of this video. Yikes. I've heard of dogs doing amazing things for their owners before but this takes the cake. Bennett, who happens to be a cattle dog, not only retrieves a beer for his "parched" owner on command, but also opens the refrigerator to do so and closes it after he's grabbed the bottle of beer. How cool is that? Bennett has probably set the awesome bar for dogs to an unreachable height. This is pretty impressive when you consider that I struggled to get my waiter last night just to bring me one beer. Oliver Struempfel, a 38-year-old tax inspector, set a new world record on Sunday at the Gillamoos beer festival in Abensberg by carrying 27 mugs of beer more than 130 feet. The haul weighed approximately 147 pounds, and Struempfel said he wouldn't have been able to do it without "training in a fitness center, especially in winter time." Strangely enough he only had to beat just one other competitor, and that poor bastard wound up looking like a complete plonker next to the champ even though he was carrying damn near 20 liters himself.

From what I can make out, a few people in a boat on a river in Brazil came across this absolute beast of a snake. One of them, the high-pitched screamer, reacts the way we all would while the other two seem to be all about messing around with this beast of a snake. Lucky for them, it looks like it had itself a giant snack very recently. This might just be the only reason that these idiots are still alive. KTVA Anchorage reporter Charlo Greene was in the middle of a report on the Alaska Cannabis Club when the tone of her report took a turn. It just so happens that she is also the owner of that club and since she wants to spend all of her time and efforts on legalizing marijuana in Alaska, she felt she had no other choice than to quit her day job and concentrate on what is important to her.

That led to her glorious f-bomb and walk off the set, all of which was caught on camera. Watch it and enjoy. And maybe cringe. Perhaps the funniest part is watching the flustered news anchor try to handle the situation when they turn the cameras back on her.

Right boys Mad Max is back - and still mad - in "Fury Road," the fourth film in the post-apocalyptic action franchise. This is the first installment in the franchise in nearly 30 years, since 1985's "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome." A word of warning: Don't expect to learn too much by way of the story from merely watching the trailer. This is little more than appetizer, filled with intense stares, snatches of action scenes and lots and lots of desert dust. One thing we do learn, though: "Fury Road" features some huuuuge car stunts. As with the previous installments, the story is set in apost-apocalyptic wasteland where water and gasoline are more valuable than human life - especially if those in search of it are among the roving bands of marauders that wreak havoc everywhere they go. And the best thing of all is that it was filmed right next door in Namibia.

The hottest video on the web right now is of a hot chick returning home to Murrysville, Pennsylvania for the first time in two years and her pet schnauzer passing out from extreme excitement. Although in fairness to the dog two human years is about 14 dog years so the dog probably was entitled to be a little bit overwhelmed. It would appear that the "Force" is strong in some of our little feline friends. I remember when I was a teenager being absolutely terrified when I went on the Space Mountain roller coaster ride at Disneyland for the first time. Having just taken a look at the ride featured on this video I think that I can quite safely say that I was a bit of a coward. This insane nearly 100 foot total free fall at 55MPH is one of the most crazy rides on the planet. There is literally nothing between you and the net below. The ride is called "Sky Tower" and is located at Tivoli Friheden in Denmark.

I am a huge fan of John Oliver and the Last Week Tonight show. If you havn't watched his show before then all I can say is that you are missing out on something absolutely brilliant. In a nutshell the Last Week Tonight tv show is a half-hour topical comedy series hosted by John Oliver, presenting a satirical look at the week's news, politics and current events. It's a bloody brilliant show. On the latest episode John Oliver probably put it best by saying that Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States, was probably best known for "dying two years into his first term." Of course that "was" until he brings up the fact that Harding had a thing for his neighbor's wife and that he wrote what he calls "Smutty F@ck Notes" to her.

Three Beat Slide’s second single,Skip Skip Slide, has divided opinion –some hate it, somethink it’s the most horrendous thing they’ve ever seen. Before you attempt to watch this I must tell you that I did not manage to watch the entire thing. A while back we featured a killer clown prank video. The three-minute video - which has now been watched by millions of people on YouTube - showed the scary-looking clown shocking different strangers with his violent ways. Anyway the guys who put it together have gone ahead and scared the crap out of a whole new bunch of unsuspecting victims all over again. This time, along with the now classic dummy rigged with a head that shoots blood everywhere the minute the clown wacks it, they've added a chainsaw, pyromania, and some freaky music to the mix. I couldn't figure out if this is a real or fake video. If it's real then I have to say that if I was in this guys place I would have peed in my pants. The video was uploaded by user Terry Tufferson, and shows the first-person POV of a swimmer who jumps off Manly's Jump Rock in Sydney Harbour, Australia, and is then approached by a great white shark once in the water.

This looks really cool and I am definitely going to be watching this. "This Is Where I Leave You" stars Jason Bateman, Tina Fey and Jane Fonda and is based on the novel by Jonathan Tropper. From what I can make out from the trailer four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week after the death of their father.

According to an article in the Daily Mail,a Japanese cookie maker has come up with the greatest cookie of all-time, one that will enhance a woman's breast size if she eats justtwo of them on a daily basis. The makerssay that eating just two a day will create a noticeable difference inbreast size, and they have spread in popularity not only through Japan but other parts of Asia. Subtly named ‘F cup cookies’ the biscuits contain 50mg of Pueraria Mirifica (a plant extract found in plant in northern and north eastern Thailand) extract per cookie.The plant Pueraria Mirifica contains a molecule similar to oestrogen known as Miroestrol which mimics the biological activities of the hormone. Whether or not their claims are true, we're pretty sure it's accurate tosay both products sound a lot tastier than "Fresh Cemen Dip" from Gama.

I am huge fan of British humour and in particular Harry Enfield. I came across this sketch by accident this morning in which he plays the part of a not-so-tight-lipped South African chemist. His accent is great and it makes for hilarious viewing as he enquires about a customer's family and stools, makes genitalial faux pas toward a customer and gives out other sensitive information.

OK we all know that there are some things that are really dangerous and that we shouldn't do them. There are however some really unusual ways that you can end up dying as this video clearly shows us. Did you know that over 6000 people a year die from texting and driving in the US alone and that hippos kill over 500 people a year. The only bit I didn't understand is how exactly tv can kill you.

I cannot believe that this has been around for about five years and I only came across this today. This racked up over 15 million hits on Youtube. I don't want to give the ending away but in a nutshell a sleep-deprived office worker accidentally discovers a black hole - and then greed gets the better of him.

The truly remarkable thing about this video is that this couple are still together. PrankvsPrank, also known as PVP, is a Youtube channel created by Jesse Wellens and his girlfriend Jeana. A Dutch girl band called ADAM have successfully launched their new single by by releasing a video of them attempting to sing the song while reaching orgasm courtesy of an off-camera vibrator. I have to be honest and say that it took me a while to realise that the buzzing sound that I was hearing was not part of the song. Using a vibrator, three of the ADAM ladies (there are five in the band) do their very best to keep a straight face – for the first half of the song at least. Gathering that they have got over seven million hits on Youtube in the last few days and that I can't get this song out of my head it would appear that their unusual approach has worked.

I thought that this was quite amusing and showed some initiative. A guy (Cenek) wants revenge on his buddy (Erik) for giving him sleeping pills and having him wake up in his bed in the middle of town.To switch it up a bit, Cenek took Erik far away from town to the middle of nowhere where he had two creepy figures waiting to scare Erik. One was in the middle of the road, while the other was hiding in the trunk.It's safe to say that Cenek succeeded and Erik's gonna have to step it up to top him the next go round. Should be interesting to see what he comes up with.

This looks like it's going to be flippin great movie and I can't wait to watch this. "A Million Ways To Die In The West" is Seth MacFarlanes follow-up to the massively successful ‘Ted'. This movie has one kick ass cast that includes Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman and of course Seth MacFarlane himself. From what I can make out Seth MacFarlane plays the role of the cowardly sheep farmer Albert. After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man.

This student went for a spectacular gymnastic exit as he graduated from University, but it didn't go according to plan. It resulted in a moment he will remember forever but for all the wrong reasons. Watching this you just know that this guy is going to do something very special with his life.

I have never been a fan of the whole twerking phenomenon. For those of you who don't know twerking is the act of moving/ shaking ones ass/buns/bottom/buttocks/bum-bum in a circular, up-and-down, and side-to-side motion. It's basically a slutty dance that in all likelyhood was derived from strip clubs. Anway this video shows us that second hand smoke is probably healthier for children than to be around parents who decide to give twerking a try.

Apparently this is the final trailer for the latest X-Men movie, Days of Future Past, which is due out any day now. Wolverine time travels to a time before the first X-Men movie to, yes you guessed it, save the world. I am not entirely sold on the plot, as time travel plots have always been a little bit suspect, but will no doubt watch and enjoy every second of it.

This is probably not a great advert for FedEx. Security cameras are there to help keep watch in case there's criminal activity taking place. Philip Seymour Hoffman may no longer be with us, but thankfully he's left a couple completed films to help soften the blow of his tragic loss. "God's Pocket" has been described as a "deliciously twisted comedy" and stars the late Philip Seymour Hoffman as Mickey. I am told that this is one of two movies that he acted in before sadly passing away. Based on a novel by Pete Dexter, the film follows Mickey Scarpato, who tries to cover up the death of his stepson in a"construction accident." But when a journalist latches on to the story,Mickey finds things going from bad to worse.

Seriously people the English language is rather insane. Speaking it is one thing but being able to write it is anouther thing altogether. This video gave me a bit of a headache when I watched it but it certainly makes its point.

The "Slow Mo Guys" is a really cool web based series that consists of different things being filmed in extreme slow motion using a range of high-speed cameras, capable of shooting over 10,000 frames per second. Daniel Gruchy, one-half of the Slow Mo Guys, is seen slapping the mousetraps with his hands in this impressive 2,500-frames-per-second clip. I would not suggest that you try this one at home folks as it looks painful. I am not normally a huge fan of the vampire genre but this one looks like it could be really good. "Only Lovers Left Alive" is a romance drama vampire film directed by Jim Jarmusch. Set against the romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangier it tells the tale of two fragile and sensitive vampires, Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Eve (Tilda Swinton), who have been lovers for centuries. I had some serious doubts about this but it wasn't quite as cheesy as I thought it would be. Every boy has wanted to be Superman at some point in his life and thanks to the guys over at Corridor Digital,you can now experience the world from Superman's point of view.  using a drone they shot footage over Los Angeles and used actors to simulate a day out as Superman if he had a GoPro camera strapped to his head. It's pretty entertaining and the scenery alone makes it well worth watching.

This is one of those videos that will keep you out of the water. A diver was culling lion fish in the West Caribbean Sea when a shark came from out of nowhere and tried to attack him. The shark made a few more attempts at him, but the diver was able to fight the shark off. Here is the what the diver had to say about his experience on his YouTube post: "Caribbean Reef Shark encounter in the Western Caribbean Sea. Wewere Lion Fish Culling when the shark came out of no ware. It scared thecrap out of me. Filmed on my GoPro 3 camera. We were in about 70' ofwater when the shark encounter occurred.

This month's greatest hits and misses includes a lot of swearing and cursing during interviews, a couple of ice slips and one very gratuitous display of full frontal nudity from an extremely happy Seattle Seahawks fan. The interview with Samuel L. Jackson is just brilliant.

It's no secret that I am a huge Kate Upton fan. Visual effects company Cinesite has made a mock commercial for a fictitious product called "Haynes Baked Beans" and it's brilliant. Watch this and get your week started with a laugh.

I have absolutely no idea what language they are speaking in this awesome Chucky-based bus stop prank or even where this was filmed but it really doesn't matter. A small person dressed up as Chucky is hiding in a bus stop advertising unit. When people start to sit on the bench to wait for the bus, Chucky breaks through the plexiglass screaming and brandishing a giant knife. This looks like it's going to be one amazing movie. Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel" recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The cast is bloody awesome and features Ralph Fiennes, F. Murray Abraham, Edward Norton, Mathieu Amalric,Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Léa Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum,Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Murray, and Owen Wilson.

I have never actually watched the Super Bowl but every year I am amazed at the huge amounts of money that big corporations spend on creating commercials for them. The one that everyone is talking about is this year’s Audi commercial.The car brand is making some kind of bigpoint about car hybrids by introducing America to the Doberhuahua. I though that this was pretty clever. Channel 4 launched a spoof online sickie service encouraging UK viewers to stay up late and watch its coverage of the Super Bowl that aired this past Sunday. The Monday following the Super Bowl coincided with the first Monday in February which was expected to see the highest number of people calling into work claiming to be sick than any other day of the year in the UK. The video is pretty cool as it takes you through a step by step guide to playing sick and getting out off work. Lets face it we have all been there and done this before and chances are will be doing it again soon.

According to their website, the Learn for Life Foundation of Western Australia is a non-profit organisation promoting the importance of education for people of all ages. Their brand new video commercial called "Set Yourself Free" shows just what might happen if you ditch school. As public service announcements go, this one definitely takes an unexpected turn about halfway through, and goes where most PSAs do not. Tell us, would this have kept you from playing hooky in school? Is that even the actual point of this, or do you think it's a spoof on serious PSAs? Either way, is the ad effective, funny or just wrong?

The ‘King of the Beers’ has unveiled its utterly adorable new advert, set to be aired on TV during Sunday’s Super Bowl.While the tale of a puppy falling in love with a horse may seem a little strange, the advert has already racked up over 15 million hits online. While I think the advert is really cool I must say that I can't see what it has to do with drinking beer.

When I heard that this commercial had been banned I presumed that this was because of nudity or something like that. 'Sorry, Coke & Pepsi' is the uncensored version of SodaStream's commercial for the Super Bowl.This commercial was pulled by Fox because it takes a jab at Coke and Pepsi. It turns out that Coke and Pepsi just so happen to be the television company's two biggest advertisers and they didn't take lightly to this commercial. Oh well, maybe this will make SodaStream consider using nudity in their commercials for next year's Super Bowl.

OK we all know that you have to be brave to pull off a quality prank, but at what point does that cross over into sheer stupidity? I reckon that if you tried to pull off a prank like that here in South Africa you would be shot dead on your first attempt. This prank got over 60 000 hits on Youtube in just one day but like I said I think it's a bit stupid.

We have a strange habit of idolizing criminal masterminds. Even thieves who don’t necessarily share their robbed riches with the poor still seem to retain the adoration of fans who live vicariously through their daring escapades. Who hasn't watched The Thomas Crown Affair and wanted to be just like the main character in the movie. Perhaps we live such boring lives that we like to live through their callous disregard for society's rules and regulations. In December 2002, thieves pulled off one of the most inexplicable diamond heists of all time at a science museum in The Hague, Netherlands. I always thought that I was pretty good at solving puzzles but I can't crack this one. If anyone out there manages to figure out just how these guys pulled this off please let the rest of us know.

This is a really cool sketch showing you exactly how to order and drink craft beer like a hipster. Craft beer aficionados like myself know that ordering a decent pint in a bar can make you feel silly. (Every time I ask a bartender for a "Quills Kalahari Gold", I want to crawl under my bar stool and die.) The folks behind Nacho Punch know a little something about silly names, and have made a cool video about the lengths breweries go to to set their brands apart.The bit at the end where the guy orders the Bud Light beer and the barman tells him where to get off is hilarious.

Devil's Due, which is a movie that's about Satan's baby, needed a little extra marketing promotion. So the marketing team did what any awesome movie marketing team would do and created a remote-controlled stroller with a pretty realistic Satan spawn toddler (also remote-controlled) and drove it around New York City. I had my doubts when I heard that they were doing a remake of Godzilla but after watching this trailer I have to admit that not only was I wrong but that this might just be one of the bigger hits we see in 2014. The story line appears to be the same which is that a giant radioactive monster called Godzilla wreaks destruction on mankind. The trailer looks awesome and I will most definitely be watching this when it comes out.

I really don't know why it took me so long to come across this. Apparently back in October 2011 Sting celebrated his 60th birthday with a concert in New York that featured a stacked lineup of performers who sang the former Police front man's most-beloved songs with him. While the evening saw the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder and Billy Joel cover Sting's tunes, there was an unlikely performer who stole the show - actor Robert Downey Jr. The Iron Man joined Sting and his band for a righteous and extremely impressive cover of The Police gem "Driven To Tears."

I am sure that you all remember the Volvo advert that went viral towards the end of last year that featured Jean Claude van Damme performing the splits between two moving Volvo trucks. It must have been about fifteen years ago that I first watched South Park while visiting my brother in Scotland. South Park is an animated series featuring four foul-mouthed 4th graders,Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman. The show is set in the Colorado town of South Park where weird things keep happening, whether its being abducted by aliens or avoiding Kyle's little brother Ike. Back then it was and still is today one of the funniest shows around. I guess what makes it so amusing is that they really don't hold back and tackle issues that most people wouldn't touch with a fifty meter barge pole. The show is intended for mature audiences with its crude language and dark humour. With over 300 episodes having been produced there are loads of great scenes. Here are my top five favourite scenes from South Park.

I really used to enjoy watching 21 Jump Street many years ago. I had my doubts about 22 Jump Street which is an upcoming movie based on the original series but having just watched this kick ass trailer I am going to have to say that I was wrong. It looks hilarious and I can't wait to watch this.

Ok so part of me never grew up and I have to admit that every once in a while I like to watch South Park. South Park and its main protagonist Eric Cartman are known for laying into pretty much everyone and everything. Now they are having a go at Jacob Zuma being booed at the Mandela memorial. Last year one of their episodes caused quite a bit of trouble when it incited violence against red heads and started what has become known as National Kick a Ginger Day in Canada. Chances are that you will never look at your clothes in the same way again after watching this video. I spent Christmas at a little sea side town called Betty's Bay this year. While I was there I visited the local penguin colony. There must have been thousands of these smelly dodgy looking penguins there and it got me thinking - what if penguins are planning on taking over the world? Think about it for a moment. While a lot of people are awaiting the overthrow of the human race by zombies, robots or aliens, they would never expect this. While we continue gawking at them with wide, admiring eyes at the aquarium, we might be doing so without knowing that we are admiring our own downfall. What we refer to as their so called cuteness is probably just the penguins' way of masking their master plan of world domination. They're cute and they know it. They've also been boxed into zoos and aquariums long enough to know that cuteness is a human's weakness. So while we're distracted by their adorableness, their little penguin brains continue to ruminate...and plot... and scheme.

Wow. This is well worth watching. Master speed-painter D. Westry shows off his creative skills during the "Anderson's Viewers Got Talent" competition. I must admit that I didn't get what he was doing right until the last minute.

I know that pretty much everything tasts better with bacon in it but does everything smell better with bacon in it? Believe it or not a company called J&D Foods is marketing a bacon deodorant aptly called "Bacon Power". Apparently these guys love bacon so much that they also make and sell bacon lip balm, bacon shaving cream, and maybe weirdest of all, bacon sunblock. I have this image in my mind of someone applying this deodorant only to find themselves being followed around by every dog in the neighbourhood. So there you go, if you want to smell like a sweating pig buy "Bacon Power Deodorant".

I am really enjoying the "Girls Are Assholes" web series. Written by and staring women it's about ...yup you guessed it...women being assholes. This video is about two girls in bar rejecting the friendly, non threatening advances of a "normal" guy on the grounds that he's "creepy"while embracing the incredibly creepy advances of the "hot" guy. I though this was quite amusing. This guy thought it would be funny to set up a hidden camera and prank his girlfriend by telling her that he cheated on her. Things don't go his way and his girlfriend's reaction sends the guy into hysterics. Personally I think that these two are perfect for each other. This girl gives as good as she gets.

Ender's Game scored the number 1 slot at the weekend box office, earning $28m in its opening weekend. Ender's Game is an epic adventure with an awesome cast that includes Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis and Abigail Breslin. Harrison Ford just seems to get better and better the older he gets.

Chances are that you heard about the rioting and looting that took place last week in the Cape Town CBD. Apparently things started off quietly, but quickly escalated into a mob running through the streets breaking car windows and looting street vendors. This amatuer footage was captured from the Absa building. The commentary is awesome. My best part is "That dude looks like a ninja turtle".

Chances are that everywhere you go during the month of November all you are going to see are guys trying to grow moustaches like they are the greatest thing since pants with pockets. What’s with this novelty facial hair? When did it become cool to look like a seventies porno star? Ok I know that the idea behind Movember is to raise money for mens health but seriously guys if you feel that strongly about it just give them the money. I would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight right now at the beginning of November before things get out of hand. Moustaches are like airline food, they are crap.

I though that this was pretty amusing and worth watching. Not quite sure what it has to do with drinking vodka but who really cares.

Captain America is back! OK I know that there are a lot of people out there that are not huge fans of Americans or their appetite for consumerism but you have to admit that they do produce some awesome commercials. Hot Pockets have just launched their new ad which features an incredible lineup with Kate Upton, Snoop Dogg, Oliver Cooper, Bow Wow and KevJumba.If you are a Kate Upton fan you might want to click HERE to check out some of her other videos that we like.

This poor little three year-old kid is dealing with a real dilemma.Luckily, his parents taped it and now we all get to laugh at it. The little guy seems really concerned about overflowing the toilet as he contemplates everything he ate, from apples to cheesestrings to "chocolate things." There are a couple of strong grunts thrown in for good measure. Hopefully everything worked out ok for the little guy and he learned a valuable lesson. His statement: "I don't even know why I ate that much food" might be one of the most relatable statements ever made in human history.

This is pretty scary. If you are in a good mood then I would strongly suggest that you do not watch this music video. This video should carry a health warning that reads: Warning. If you watch this you will not be able to get these three minutes of your life back!

1. NATIONAL LAMPOON'S ANIMAL HOUSE

There are loads of great student movies but I think the one that still sets the standard is the 1978 classic Animal House. It's got a great script and an awesome cast. The plot can be best be summarised by saying that it is about a misfit group of fraternity members who challenge the dean of Faber College. There are some absolutely hilarious scenes in this movie. This film inspired scenes in just about every other movie on this list,and is also a crucial component in the 6-degrees from Kevin Bacon phenomenon.

This looks pretty cool. Sporting an impressive cast that includes amongst others Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper it's about a con man and his partner forced to work for a wild FBI agent andare  pushed into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia. I hardly recognised Bale who sports an impressive goatee, a full head of shaggyshoulder-length hair and, most notably, a fuller figure and beer belly.

The kid in me really enjoyed watching this. It's a rather amusing cartoon about Batman trying to take his drivers test. The voice is spot on! If you have a couple of spare minutes click HERE to check out the awesome opening sequence for the Simpsons called the "Treehouse of Horror".

With a cast that includes Christian Bale, Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, Forest Whitaker, Willem Dafoe, Zoe Saldana and Sam Shepard you can pretty much bet your bottom dollar that this is gong to be a great flick to watch.

Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day here in Cape Town, After work I figured I would get summer off to a start with a braai. In need of some inspiration I checked out some videos on Youtube and came across The BBQ Pit Boys. These guys are just bloody awesome. Their videos are well put together, easy to follow and the best part is that they have come up with some original recipes.

I came across this by chance on Youtube. This guy is interviewing a bunch of random Americans on the road. to see how much they know about their country. the results are pretty scary to say the least.

I read an interesting article yesterday called 10 Services of the Super Rich. Some of them made perfect sense as they were designed to cut down on wasted time but there was one I could not get my head around. It turns out that for $20,000 (that's about R200 000) you can pay what's called a "Christmas Tree Stylist" to decorate your Christmas Tree. This doesn't make any sense to me. Firstly half the fun of having a Christmas Tree is in putting it up and decorating it. I used to look forward to doing that with my brother and sister every year. Secondly R200 000 is a hell of a lot of money when you consider that the tree gets taken down in early January meaning it's only up for a short period of time. This just seemed like a waste of money to me.

I came across this video by chance on Youtube and it's an absolute shocker. With a title that reads: "Is this the most spoilt child in Britain" you just know that you are going to end up watching it. It's a bit like when you drive past an accident and you know that you shouldn't look at it but you just can't help yourself. I think that the parents are to blame for this nonsense. I just feel sorry for the poor guy who will end up marrying this girl as his life will be ruined.

I am a huge fan of Jude Law and judging by the trailer I would say that this movie was tailor made for him. After spending 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut, notorious safe-cracker Dom Hemingway is back on the streets of London looking to collect what he's owed. It's got a great cast that includes Jude Law, Richard E. Grant and Demian Bichir.

I can't help but think that Cheers was one of the best Sitcoms to grace our tv screens. Can you think of a show with a more impressive cast? Regulars on Cheers included Ted Danson, Rhea Perlman, George Wendt, Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, Shelley Long and Woody Harrelson. Too top it of it had a great script resulting in some hilarious scenes. In case you never got around to watching it on tv here's a quick summary. Sam (Ted Danson), a former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, owns and runs Cheers, a cozy bar in Boston.

Raffaella Modugno is an Italian model turned actress who represented Italy in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant. In 2011, she went on to win the title of Miss Curvy Italia. However, last year she was deemed too hot to compete for Miss Italy again, which was just stupid if you ask me. I managed to track down a pretty cool video with a cool soundtrack which will certainly help the boys out there get there day going.

This is a true story and it's pretty freaky to say the least. I always thought that I was good at figuring out unsolved mysteries but this one has got me stumped. The Mary Celeste was launched in Nova Scotia in 1860. Her original name was “Amazon”. Over the next 10 years she was involved in several accidents at sea and passed through a number of owners. The Amazons first captain, Robert McLellan died nine days after taking command. He was the first of three captains to die aboard her. Eventually the Amazon turned up at a New York salvage auction where she was purchased for $3,000 and renamed the “Mary Celeste”.

I am not easily scared or frightened by horror movies but this one looks like it will leave me with many sleepless nights. Grounded in reality, it is based on the true life story of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorised by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse.

Greg Benson is an American comedian. His production company, Mediocre Films, creates short comedy films generally released on Youtube. This one is pretty self explanatory and if you enjoy it then click HERE to check out some of his other stuff.

This has got over nine million hits on Youtube and is well worth watching. This hilarious two-minute ad stars a pretty, well put-together actress who delivers crass lines about bowel movements in a prim and proper English accent. This is doing the rounds at the moment and it is well worth watching. In case you didn't know a GoPro is a brand of high-definition personal cameras, often used in extreme action video photography. They are known for being lightweight, rugged,wearable (head-mounted) or mountable in unusual places such as outside planes, cars, or boats. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros are an American indie folk band formed in California in 2007. Led by lead vocalist Alex Ebert the group features a revolving lineup of up to 12 people at any one time. I think the phrase "rambunctious stuff" best describes their music.

This group of guys in New Zealand decided to pull a prank on one of their friends by attaching beer kegs to every tap in the house. As soon as the target, a poor sap named Russ, took off for the day, the gang stormed underneath his house and installed the kegs. Not only did the guys tape the entire set-up, they also installed cameras throughout the house so we could all revel in the reaction shots. As you can imagine, just about every reaction shot involved a lot of smiling and a swig of beer. We all wish we had friends like these.

With the 2013 VMAs behind us you’ll be sure to have heard at least one person complain that MTV doesn’t play videos anymore and now you’ll be able to shut them down like the idiot they are.

This new advert by Guinness is causing quite a stir, and you don't have to love the Irish drink to appreciate its heartwarming nature. Created by BBDO New York, the advert features a group of wheelchair basketball players with an unexpected twist at the end. The advert begins with a group of muscular men playing an intense game of wheelchair basketball. 'The choices we make reveal the true nature of our character,' says the narrator. You may need a Guinness to wash away that lump in your throat after this heart string-pulling advert that's so very different to the other beer adverts.

I am huge fan of the awesome food television series "Man vs Food" that is hosted by Adam Richman. In case you don't know in each episode, Adam explores the "big food" offerings of a different American city before facing off against a pre-existing eating challenge at a local restaurant. Some of the challenges are insane such as eating 600 oysters in an hour. This episode however filled me with dread. I have always loved cooking and eating hot spicy food but after watching this video I have to admit that I would not be able to handle this. What an amazing video about two young people having the adventure of their lifetimes hiking the Appalachian Trail. For those of you who don't know the Appalachian Trail is a 3,500 km hike that starts in Georgia and ends in Maine. To put things in perspective that is longer than walking from Cape Town to Windhoek, then back again and then still walking anouther 500kms. This couples amazing journey began on March 1 and ended six months later on August 26. Those who manage to successfully complete it in one attempt are called Thru-hikers. This amazing video should serve as a reminder to us all that life is for living and that nothing no matter how daunting at first is impossible. Plus it's got a great soundtrack featuring Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros and David Crowder Band that will help you get your weekend off to a good solid start.

This looks awesome. We all remember eighties legend Michael J.Fox from the Back to the Future movie series. In this new series aptly named the Michael J.Fox show he plays Mike Henry, a man who's five years removed from his gig as a popular New York news anchor following a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. Without a job to fill his days,he spends most of his time getting all up in the business of his family (wife, three kids) and his sister, so he decides to go back to work with hilarious results.

Japanese TV shows are notoriously weird and whacky, but this could just be the most insane prank to date. A poor hapless office worker gets the shock of his life when he is suddenly confronted by a Jurassic Park-style dinosaur. The man is first seen calmly sauntering down the corridor with a cup of coffee in his hand. He then notices fellow workers running from something and, from the look on his face, begins to realise something is wrong. But when a man wearing a dinosaur suit- that looks like those vicious Raptors from the Jurassic Park films -pokes his head around the corner he nearly jumps out of his skin.The terrified man bolts down the corridor stumbling several times along the way as he desperately tries to escape. Can't say I blame him. I would have peed in my pants.

I am so glad that I bought a smartphone so that I can download helpful apps that improve my life. I’d love to tell you that I am using an app to watch advanced level philosophy and mathematics tutorials but I would be lying to you because that is not what I do on my Smartphone. I use mine to document my bodily functions. "Places I've Pooped" is an awesome little gem of an Application that helps you track all the places you've pooped in the world. You get to expand your territory, marking everywhere you've pooped. You get to add a location with the "Bomb's Away!" button after the deed has been done and go back anytime to see every place you have gone!

This looks bloody awesome. Based on the true story of the greatest treasure hunt in history, "The Monuments Men" is an action-thriller focusing on an unlikely World War 2 platoon, tasked by FDR with going into Germany to rescue artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and returning them to their rightful owners. Amongst others the cast includes George Clooney, Matt Damon and Bill Murray.

This is definitely one of the better educational series on Youtube. It's hosted by Sparky Sweets who explains and analyzes classical literature in African American Vernacular English. The series is pretty comprehensive and they cover pretty much all of the classics. Thug Notes has more than 65,000 subscribers, 801,000 views and receives an average of 17,000 views per day.

This is the "teaser" trailer for Pompeii which is due to be releases early next year. As the name suggests the movie is called Pompeii because it's about when Mount. Vesuvius erupts and destroyes the Roman city nearly 2,000 years ago. The new teaser trailer for the upcoming movie starts with falling ash and the famous ‘frozen’ people of Pompeii, stuck in the poses they held at the moment that the volcano destroyed the city. The movie isn’t all ash though. There’s also people making out and fighting — and lots of explosions.

It's a known fact that I loath beauty pageants. I particularly dislike the stupid questions that the contestants are asked and the ridiculous answers they encourage. Well this contestant seems to suffer some sort of a mental breakdown when trying to answer this question. This is one of the better news stories I have come across in a while. A zoo in China is facing an uproar of criticism this week, after it was revealed that its African lion is in fact a dog. Quite clearly the guys running the zoo are yet to watch Disneys The Lion King. The zoo reportedly tried to disguise a Tibetan mastiff (a large and long-haired breed of dog) as a big cat, putting it on display in a cage marked "African lion". Apparently the zoo's charade was exposed after visitors heard the animal bark.

Based on the real-life story of a small band of samurai who take on an entire army, 47 Ronin has one of the most spectacular trailers I've ever seen. The film looks like a cross between The Last Samurai and Lord of The Rings. Plus it features Keanu Reeves and it's been about ten years since we last saw him in The Matrix. Apparently it is due to be released this Christmas.

This looks like it will be a great movie. From what I can make out a disgraced former marketing executive plots revenge against his former boss who made billions from the electric car company he once owned. It's got a great cast that includes Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes and Michael Keaton.

This is pretty cool. Bryan Habana, who has 86 caps for good old SA and is known as one of the speediest players in the game, took part in the one-off race against the A380 “super-jumbo”, which belongs to British Airways. Watched by fellow rugby players Jean de Villiers and Chris Robshaw, the 95kg sportsman rapidly gained a lead on the 366,000kg aircraft after the contest was started by the model Georgia May Jagger. The aircraft then began to close the gap as it accelerated quickly towards take-off. The stunt was carried out to publicise the launch of BA's A380, in particular the airline’s new flights to Johannesburg,which begin early next year.

This looks promising. Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York in pre-civil war United States, is abducted and sold into slavery. The cast is awesome and includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Sarah Paulson, Brad Pitt,and Bill Camp. I think this is going to get some serious Oscar nominations.

I thought this was quite amusing and sadly quite true. I loved the bit at the half way mark with the fat chick sweating all over the seat and the guys expression when he checks it out.

I am a huge fan of the Riddick movies. It's been yonks since the last installment so this is long overdue. The trailer looks awesome.  For those of you who are not familiar with the movies Riddick is the antihero of three films in the Riddick series, which are Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick,the animated movie The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury. My advice to you is if you havn't watched these movies do yourself a favour and watch them asap.

This is hilarious. At one time or anouther we'v all had to exchange cell phone numbers with someone that we knew would call but that we really didn't want to hear from. Chances are just like in this hilarious video you have probably noted that in your caller ID.

For those of you who don't know Man v. Food is a kick ass American food television series. The program is hosted by actor and food enthusiast Adam Richman. In each episode, Richman explores the "big food" offerings of a different American city before facing off against a pre-existing eating challenge at a local restaurant. I think this is one of the greatest TV shows of our time – this guy has gleefully ploughed his way through culinary monstrosities like a seven-pound burrito, a metre-long bratwurst, and a 12-patty cheeseburger without even breaking a sweat.

A news reporter over at WJRT in Michigan made the ultimate Freudian slip on live television. While attempting to point out roads that had been affected by construction, she ended up solidifying her place in viral video history. Honestly, if there were more penis drawings in the news, we would all probably be more likely to pay attention.

OK so I admit I watched the first Hunger Games and I am looking forward to watching the sequel "Catching Fire". From what I can make out it begins with Katniss Everdeen returning home safely after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. It looks pretty cool and has a great cast. Who knows while I am at it I may even watch the Twilight Saga.

I really enjoyed watching this. It's a great spot-on portrayal of how women evolve between their 20s and 30s. I can't wait to see their take on how men evolve over the same period.

It would appear that I am getting a bit slow on the uptake these days. This Youtube video went viral a while back clocking up over five million hits. The video shows an impala escaping two cheetahs - by leaping into a car full of tourists. The terrified animal had looked a second away from death when an unexpected window of opportunity appeared...literally.

The weather has been pretty cold, wet and miserable lately so I have been spending my evenings watching some great British comedy series. I came across a great series last night called "Not The Nine O'Clock News" which was shown on BBC2 in the early eighties. It has a great cast that includes Rowan Atkinson, Pamela Stephenson and Mel Smith. I just can't figure out what the best British comedy series is. There is some serious competition that includes the likes of Monty Python and Only Fools And Horses. Do yourself a favour and watch these clips they are hilarious.

Is this the best Muppets sketch ever made? The puppet series created by Jim Henson in the fifties have produced some of the most amazing moments in television. This has got to be my favourite and will now be stuck in my head for weeks MAHNA MAHNA.

It's no secret that I am a huge fan of British comedy and when it comes to Monty Python it's hard to get any better. This sketch is absolutely brilliant. If you enjoy this then check out my clips with Harry Enfield and Only Fools and Horses.

OK so we have all heard that Julius Malema is launching a new political party called Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Late last week Malema officially launched the EFF and outlined some of its policies which effectively aim at turning South Africa into a socialist country which includes the expropriation of land and the  nationalisation of banks and mines without compensation. He has also promised that no one convicted of fraud will be allowed to lead the party. If you want to get your week started on a low point then watch this video.

This is worth watching not so much because it will make you laugh but rather because you need to see just how stupid some people can be. We can only hope that the participants in this video will never breed.I thought that the soundtrack "Somewhere over the Rainbow" was a nice touch.

The really informative and entertaining Ze Frank is back, reciting poignant facts about a rather strange little animal called a Tarsier. I have to admit this is one of the freakiest animals I have come across. Just when I thought I had seen it all I came across this video on Youtube. Someone has compiled a pretty hilarious video of actresses heads exploding. If you were thinking that this was a once off thing think again. There is also "Exploding Actresses-Disney Princesses", "Exploding Actresses-Titanic" and "Exploding Actresses-Love Movies" which is my personal favourite.

In a bizarre chase a "hormonal" giraffe in the Eastern Cape was captured chasing down his prey - nine tourists on a game-viewing vehicle. The video, posted on YouTube, has since gone viral. I couldn't help but think that this reminded me of the scene in Jurassic Park with the T-Rex chasing the jeep.

This movie looks like it's going to be well worth watching. It features Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsc as two highway road workers who spend the summer away from their city lives repairing a stretch of road.

I came across this music video by chance and really enjoyed watching it. The whole thing was shot right here in Cape Town and it makes you realise just how beautiful this city really is. It also made think that I have had enough of winter and can't wait for summer to arrive.

Have you ever seen something so freaky it's funny? All I seem to be posting these days are trailers for upcoming movies but it's hard not to when you take a look at just how many awesome movies are being released lately. You can't go wrong with a cast that includes Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd. This looks like it's going to be hilarious.

I had my doubts when I first heard that LEGO were bringing out a movie but having just watched this trailer I have to admit I got this wrong. The trailer looks awesome and stars the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. How could you go wrong with a crew like that?

This is the trailer to the sequel for the awesome movie 300. I think this is going to be a must see for pretty much every guy out there. 300 had some amazing fight scenes and judging by this trailer we are in for some more. For all you Hobbit fans out there you can breathe a collective sigh of relief as the trailer for the next installment of the Hobbit franchise was released yesterday. I thought that the first movie deviated too much from the book but still made for great entertainment. The second installment looks awesome.

If you haven't guessed by now I am huge fan of British comedy. Only Fools and Horses is a British sitcom, created and written by John Sullivan. Seven series were originally broadcast on BBC One between 1981 and 1991. This is one of my favourite scenes with the immortal line "Play it nice and cool son, know what I mean" muttered by Del. This commercial has been around for a while now but it's still pretty cool. I am not a huge golf player but you have to admit that this commercial spices the game up a bit. I am a huge fan of British comedy and in particular a sketch called "A Bit of Fry and Laurie". It's a hilarious British sketch comedy television series written by and starring former Cambridge Footlights members Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, broadcast on both BBC1 and BBC2 between 1989 and 1995. It ran for four series and totalled 26 episodes, including a 35 minute pilot episode in 1987. This is an absolutely brilliant sketch called Oprah which takes the mickey out of American talk shows. It's a cold, wet and pretty miserable Saturday morning in Cape Town and I find myself laying in bed watching some of my favourite music videos. My dog seems to be laboring under some misguided notion that I am going to be getting out of bed and taking him for a walk...dream on buddy. Anyway I was listening to some of my all time favourites like Natural Blues by Moby, One by U2, Freedom by George Michael, Leaving New York by REM, November Rain by Guns N' Roses, Hurts Like Heaven by Coldplay just to name a few when I hit gold. Check out the video above entitled "Skeleton Crew" by a band called Kovacs and the Polar Bear. This is some of the best chill out music I have come across in ages.

OK so it's Friday today and I like to end the week on a light note. What could be better than taking a look at this exercise video on Youtube called Prancercize. This video should carry a health warning that states "Warning watching this video may give you sleepless nights". Seriously though is this for real?

You know the saying when you got to go you got to go. Well if you are in Allentown you better not urinate in public because you never know who may be watching. Fed up with a parade of people urinating outside their Allentown store in broad daylight, 2 owners who didn't want to be identified took matters into their own hands rigging up a camera and shower head in the back ally. What they get is a lot of water and a little revenge.You got to admit it's pretty funny.

If you enjoy watching dogs really embarrassing their owners then you will enjoy watching this. This reminds me of that classic video clip of Fenton the labrador chasing deer in Richmond park which had me laughing for hours.

This is so ridiculous you will find it funny. Anyway it's a Monday morning and you have a whole working week ahead of you so best you watch this and get it started with a laugh.

I was messing around on the internet this morning and came across a website featuring unsolved mysteries. Two of them I have looked at before, namely the Dyatlov Pass incident and the Taman Shud case. If you thought those two mysteries were weird then you need to take a look at this. The Voynich manuscript has been described as "the world's most mysterious manuscript"^. It has been dated as being written in the early 15th century (1404–1438), and is named after the book dealer  Wilfrid Voynich who purchased it in 1912.Some pages are missing, but there are now about 240 existing pages, most with illustrations. Much of the manuscript resembles herbal manuscripts of the 1500s, seeming to present illustrations and information about plants and their possible uses for medical purposes. You are probably thinking so what? Well this is where it gets really weird. Most of the plants do not match known species, and the manuscript's script and language remain unknown.

This video on Youtube hits so close to home it hurts. This is a must watch for any man who has tried to reason with a woman. I loved the bit where she says: ""Don't try to fix it. I just need you to listen." This really highlights the differences in how men and women deal with things. The music by Stevie Wonder? - "We Can Work It Out" at the end is a nice touch.

I have a confession to make and that is that I am a fan of the Riddick movies. It's been yonks since the last installment so this is long overdue. The trailer did not disappoint. For those of you who are not familiar with the movies Riddick is the antihero of three films in the Riddick series, which are Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, the animated movie The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury. My advice to you is if you havn't watched these movies do yourself a favour and watch them this weekend.

Wow the new Superman trailer looks bloody awesome. With a cast that amongst others includes Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner you just know this is going to be one of, if not the biggest hits of the year. I can't wait to see this.

The Alien movies were awesome. I thought this sixty second summary of them I found on Youtube is pretty amusing. Unlike the aliens in the movies these little guys are actually pretty cute.

Watch what happens when football fans try to convince their ladies to buy stadium seats for the home. Having watched this I thought the guys gave it a pretty good shot. Not sure if I could have done a better job of getting my better half to buy these chairs.

This video of a man climbing out of window in São Paulo in his underwear as a couple argue on an adjacent balcony has attracted well over a million views on YouTube since it was posted just a few days ago. Wearing only his boxer shorts, an alleged lover appears to flee an angry confrontation between a woman and her partner by knotting sheets together and climbing out of a second-floor window. So much for discretion being the better part of valour.

I am not a huge fan of scary horror films but I thought that this one looks promising. It's got an original story line with a pretty good cast. I think that this will be worth watching.

This is just brilliant. If you own a cat and want to take a peek inside their minds then watch this video. Its already clocked up well over three million hits in a short period of time which is pretty impressive.

I had heard about how popular these Spartan races had become in the States but it wasn't until one of my old college drinking buddies entered one that I decided to check it out. As the name suggests these are hard core running obstacle courses that really push you too your limits. From crawling under barbwire fences to wading through mud filled trenches you name it you are going to find it on this course. The footage for the one above that my buddy entered was mainly filmed with the use of a quadrocopter which is a mini drone which is really cool. Former England flyhalf Jonny Wilkinson decided to try and tackle a certain Opeti Fonua. Opeti hails from Tonga, plays 8th man for French club SU Agen and weighs an unbelievable 146 kg’s. This is the result...and it aint pretty.

Who remembers watching this in the eighties? It took me forever to remember the name of this great animated series. All I could think of was that it involved a grumpy man with a rather large nose. La Linea (which in English means "The Line") is an Italian animated series. The series consists of 90 episodes, each about 2–3 minutes long. Over the years the series aired in more than 40 countries around the world. It might be simple but you have to admit it's still great.

Every once in a while someone comes along and does something really cool like this on the internet. I loved watching this video. The use of light in the night scenes using lights to illuminate selective areas is awesome and the soundtrack is pretty good.

Anyone who says that global warming isn't changing weather patterns needs to be made to watch this. A strong tornado hit the Italian region of Emilia Romagna according to Italian media. This amateur video shows dramatic scenes from towns and villages close to the regional capital of Bologna. Pardon my ignorance, but this is the first time I've heard of a Tornado in Italy. Unbelievable.

One of the best things about growing up in the eighties was the television shows. Who doesn't remember Airwolf, Magnum PI, Macgyver and Dallas just to name a few. Things have moved on since then and those shows are some what obsolete these days. Having said that there really is no substitute for a great storyline with original appealing characters and one of the better ones around was The Lone Ranger. If you weren't around in the eighties then what you need to know is that the Lone Ranger was a fictional character, a  masked ex- Texas Ranger who, with his Indian companion Tonto, fought injustice in the American Old West. The character has now become an enduring icon of American culture.

OK this is one of those movies you just got to watch to relive your childhood and if you don't enjoy watching this then chances are you had a crap childhood. Plus its got a really cool soundtrack.

Kind of a freaky story in the Telegraph this morning. Apparently New Zealand officials have released a list of baby names put forward by parents that were rejected because they were too bizarre and/or offensive, including "Lucifer" and "Mafia No Fear". Seriously people why would anyone do this to a child? In 2008, New Zealands family court ordered that a nine-year-old girl whose parents had called her "Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii" should have her name changed because it was embarrassing and "makes a fool of the child". At the time, the judge criticised parents who gave their children bizarre names, citing examples such as "Number 16 Bus Shelter", "MidnightChardonnay" and twins called "Benson" and "Hedges".

Here is a bit of useful information for all you fast food junkies out there. The first Burger King franchise in South Africa will officially open on the 9th of May in Cape Town at 33 Heerengracht Street. Apparently it will open at noon on the 9th of May and the first 1000 burgers will be given away for free. Remember back in the days when planking went viral and the social networks exploded with pictures of people lying flat on their faces in all sorts of weird places? Well planking isn’t so hot anymore nowadays and it turns out that there’s a new photo meme that’s taking its place. It’s called Vadering and you better get used to it because it looks like it's going to be around for a while. I must be honest and say that this latest fad is pretty weird and seems to appeal mostly to the geek segment out there.

Baby & Me is the awesome new campaign by Evian. In the video you see adults who see themselves as babies in the reflection on a sidewalk window. As one would naturally do the adults then dance around to see what their mini me reflection will do. It's a great commercial and quite frankly if this doesn't make you smile then nothing will.

This is probably not the best way to start your new job. AJ Clemente, who was starting as a news anchor at local UnitedStates TV station KFYR, accidentally marked his opening broadcast by muttering the words "fucking shit" live on air. While first suspended by the North Dakota station, Mr Clemente later revealed on Twitter that he had been sacked by the local broadcasters. Shame you can actually see the realisation of what he had done kick in as he tries to fumble his way along.

This week, Arianny Celeste has questions for you about the stars of "Pain & Gain".This brand new action flick opens in SA shortly and features Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. This shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone. If there is one industry that is out of touch with its customers it's the wine industry. A study in the UK has found widespread bewilderment among wine drinkers at the "pompous"terms used by producers, retailers and critics to describe how a bottle tastes. Apparently more than half of wine drinkers who took part in the survey (55 per cent to be exact) said the descriptions given to wines failed to help them get an understanding of the flavour. They were given a list of 43 words and phrases used to describe different wines and were asked to identify the five they found most and least helpful in conveying the drink's taste.

I really enjoyed watching this. This is one of those videos on Youtube that make you feel good about yourself I must say though that I would have loved to have seen him meet the little fluffy kitten.

While it's a well known fact that SA Lifestyle is absolutely opposed to the promotion of any sort of racist or sexist stereotype, we are still duty-bound to report that the worst driver in the world is a woman. A South Korean woman called Cha Sa-Soon took the written driver’s license exam 950 times before passing with a 60 out of 100 and then managed to fail the practical driving test ten times before getting her license. She originally started taking the test five days a week for three years before gradually easing back to twice a week, and given that the bus to the driving school only visited her tiny village once every two hours, her driving instructors didn’t have the heart to tell her to give up. When she finally passed her written and practical driving tests, she was presented with flowers, hugs, an official entry into the Guiness Book of World Records and a brand-new Kia Soul. We can only hope that she is not using it too often.

This is hilarious. What could possibly beat a dog wearing a suit and eating peanut butter? Do yourself a favour though and turn down the volume when watching this as there is a rather annoying guy who laughs the whole way through it.

Why is it that the South African banks and financial institutions have such drop dead boring commercials. I came across this commercial for an American mortgage company that I think is brilliant. For anyone out there who has recently had to apply for a mortgage you will identify with this.

OK there are no two ways about it there is some weird stuff that goes down in Russia. You might remember that a month or two ago a meteorite crashed in the Urals well that's nothing compared to this story I just came across. About 54 years ago the northern part of the Urals played host to one of the most fascinating unsolved mysteries in the modern age. The reason it’s remained unsolved is that there are no witnesses but the dead, and they’re not talking. In February 1959, nine hikers disappeared in the Dyatlov Pass through the Ural Mountains. The group never reached their destination, and three weeks after their disappearance, their bodies were found. When you first look at what's become known as the Dyatlov Pass incident it all seems fairly explicable: Of a party of ten skiiers, nine perished in the middle of a high-difficulty hike in conditions that reached -30 degrees Celsius. But the details, which are mostly based on diaries of those involved as well as records from Soviet investigators, are like something out of a horror movie and will keep you up at night.

These crazy guys decided to crash their car straight through a RV. I couldn't help but wonder how terribly wrong this could have gone. These guys could have been worthy recipients of Darwin Awards. Still it makes for some amusing viewing.

One of my pet hates is men with excessive facial hair. My thoughts on Movember madness are well documented.I will how ever make an exception for this guy who can do things with a moustache no one dreamed possible. Plus he seems like a cool laid back guy.

I had my doubts about this movie but after having watched this mind blowingly awesome trailer I don't thing I am going to able to handle the agony of the wait until it hits the big screens here in SA. I think Leo is a sure for an Oscar and the soundtrack rocks. Wow I think this movie is going to be huge. Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby" follows would-be writer Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz, bootleg kings, and sky-rocketing stocks. Nick lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) and is drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits.

I came across a very interesting article on mandatory today about unsolved mysteries. The so called Taman Shud Case got my attention and boy does it make for some interesting reading. I always thought I was good at solving riddles and problems but this has me stumped. Dead bodies are discovered every day, but few capture the imagination quite as much as the unidentified corpse known as the Somerton Man. On 1st December 1948, a Caucasian man in his mid-40s was found dead on Somerton Beach in Australia. Coroners could discern no cause of death.The man discovered that day was in peak physical condition and as dressed very well, but all of the labels on his clothing had been removed. In his pocket was a train ticket for a ride he obviously missed on account of his being dead and all.

This looks like my kind of movie. This Is The End looks like a hilarious movie that follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate the world. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. There is a great scene with Hermoine from Harry Potter that had me in fits of laughter.

This won't just make you laugh it will also make you realise just how dangerous to your health exercising can be. Plus it's got a killer eighties Top Gun soundtrack.

OK this post is for the cat fans out there like my sister. If you havn't checked out Simon's Cat then do yourself a favour and do so now. It's a bloody brilliant and hilarious animated cartoon series by British animator Simon Tofield featuring a hungry house cat who uses increasingly heavy-handed and sometimes nasty tactics to get its owner to feed it. Seriously though, if tacos can keep the entire country of Mexico happy even though most of it kinda blows (I’m looking at you, non-coastal regions of Mexico), then you know tacos are amazing.

A contestant in a pageant sounding like an idiot during the question and answer session? Who would have expected that to happen? Well, at this point, pretty much everyone being that Miss South Carolina’s answer at the 2007 Miss Teen USA pageant is one of the better known YouTube videos of all time. Miss Iowa’s answer wasn’t anywhere near as incoherent as Miss South Carolina’s botched response, but in some ways, Miss Iowa’s answer is worse being that inadvertently lent her support to all types of marijuana — both “recreational use and healthcare.”

A pair of shark divers off the coast of South Africa were in for an unwanted surprise when a great white shark got incredibly close to their diving cage. Though the cage was attached to the boat at the time,the fearless predator swam right up, poked its head through the bars and flexed its jaw muscles. Youtube user Bryan Plummer captured the astounding footage during the March 21 dive in Gansbaai. And that is why you will not find me inside a shark cage.

It's Tuesday morning and I needed a laugh so I went and tracked down my two favourite Ben Stiller movie scenes. Do yourself a favour and watch these two scenes before you start work this morning.The first is a fabulous scene from the comedy Tropic Thunder. Tropic Thunder is a action comedy film written, produced, and directed by none other than Ben Stiller himself, and starring himself. The movie has a great cast including Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black. The main plot revolves around a group of self centered idiot actors who are making a fictional Vietnam War film. When their frustrated director decides to drop them in the middle of a jungle, they are forced to rely on their acting skills in order to survive the real action and danger. This is a fabulous scene.

This has got to be one of the best commercials I have seen in a while. You got to love how this condescending man gets whats coming to him. This is a good one for all the iPad addicts out there.

This charts the sins of the so-called "best James Bond movie ever." I enjoyed watching Skyfall. I rated it as being one of the better Bond movies but I wouldn't rate it as being the best ever. Whatever your personal opinion is you would have to agree that it was a departure from the norm.

What the hell is going on in Russia at the moment. It seems that pretty much every day something really weird happens there. Only a short while back they had meteorites crashing there and then this insane video pops up on Youtube. Seriously people this must be the most insane case of roadrage captured to date. Thank God for Russia's dashcams (seriously, do their cars come from the factory with these things installed?)

Men work extremely hard to satisfy their lovers on Valentine's Day (and pretty much every other day of the year), so March 14th is a joyous opportunity for your significant other to repay the favour. Jumping into puddles is a rite of passage for every child. But when you're older, you have to up the ante. Regular old puddles aren't going to cut the grade, as proven by this video of a guy who jumped into something that is closer to a water-filled sinkhole than a puddle. When I first watched this I was tempted to say that this was staged but the guy filming it seems genuinely surprised. Yip it's just anouther day with people doing stupid things.

I don't know how many times a mosquito has fucked shit up for me or for you, but this one takes the cake. It's a bold move for a mosquito repellant company like Baygon to go and make a commercial involving sex and how not buying their product will fuck up your sex life. I now keep a can of Baygon close by me where ever I go. Apparently this commercial has now been banned. Not quite sure why as it seems pretty harmless to me.

You have got to feel sorry for Kazakhstan. This has got to be the worst soccer pitch in the whole world. Looks more like a game of waterpolo than soccer.

This is for anyone out there who is scarred for life after being made to watch the Twilight series. I can quite honestly say that Bram Stoker did not have these teen brats in mind when he wrote his classic gothic novel Dracula. The movie adaptation of Dracula was brilliant by the way and unlike this nonsense is well worth watching. Plus it has a great soundtrack with a killer song by Annie Lennox. Having grown up in the 80's I would have to say that The Lost Boys is also not to shabby and also has a killer soundtrack.

The first two installments of this epic franchise were hilarious. This is the trailer for the third (and sadly last) installment in the franchise. I completely lost it with the scene at the end with the giraffe. Do yourself a favour and watch this.

This is one kick ass twitter account. This goat sure has some serious issues. Lets hope he manages to resolve them soon. Russia seems to be showing up a lot on Youtube these days for all the wrong reasons. Only a week ago they had meteorites crashing there. I know words like “epic” and “fail”get thrown around a lot on the Internet, but… seriously… when you see two major pieces of construction equipment go down in one fell swoop like this… wow. This is honestly one of the worst construction mistakes I have ever seen.

Kick ass new Iron Man 3 trailer is out. Like the previous trailer, it suggests Iron Man 3 could be a rather darker film than its predecessors, though there is still plentyof action and some wry one-liners. The new trailer also features fresh glimpses of the film's baddie The Mandarin, played by Oscar winner Ben Kingsley.

After watching this you have to ask yourself the question is this guy completely nuts? I think this guy is going to end up winning a Darwin Award one day soon.

Anouther day and anouther crazy person doing something really stupid. I couldn't quite make up my mind whether or not this was staged. I thought it a bit strange that the window was slightly open which would account for the sheet being pulled down. You make up your own mind.

This is heart attack material for anyone who has arachnophobia. The good news is this happened in Brazil so as long as this doesn't catch on here in SA we should be safe for a while. Apparently these spiders hunt together by laying huge webs which catch their prey. Personally I would suggest buying a flamethrower and torching them all. Nepalm might also work!

This is pretty cool. I taught my dog some cool tricks but nothing comes close to this. If this catches on girlfriends are going to become redundant.

This man deserves your respect. Recently you heard about the guy on a skateboard who shot to fame for going 110km/h down Kloof Nek road in Cape Town and in the process triggered the speed camera. Check out this dude who did the same thing only naked and for an good cause... to raise awareness around the anti-rhino poaching movement. The background music aint too shabby either. Respect!

This made me laugh. This guy is so drunk he tries to get away with crashing his car by just denying everything the cop asks him. It was a good, albeit stupid effort. I couldn't quite figure out if the accent is Kiwi or Ozzie...I am going to go with Kiwi.

Will somebody please explain to me why this commercial was banned? I think it is hilarious and harmless. I suppose these days it doesn't matter what you do or say chances are you are going to annoy someone out there. It's that age old argument about whether minority rights should or shouldn't outway freedom of expression and so on. Anyway check out this hilarious commercial, Eve's facial expressions are absolutely brilliant.

The Sheregesh Ski resort in Siberia is trying to promote itself using scantily-clad snowboarders in bikinis. Sheregesh, where temperatures can reach -40C, is a former mining town named after the Sheregeshevy brothers, who struck iron ore there in 1912. It is trying to reinvent itself as a winter sports resort. Although it is an eight hour journey from Moscow, it can boast "the bestsnow in Russia", according to the World Snowboard Guide.

I think this is just brilliant. Check out what happened to this crew on a photoshoot for the EcoBubble washing machine. Definitely one of the better commercials I have seen in a while.

My top five movies all have one thing in common and that is absolutely awesome soundtracks and awesome endings. Music can make or break any movie and these movies would be nothing without these cool soundtracks. There are so many movies with cool soundtracks so I have just named a few of my favourites.

1. Fight Club

"You've met me at a very strange time in my life" is probably the understatement of the century in this classic end scene from the Fight Club. This film has a great cast, a great plot and a great soundtrack. What more is there to say?

Thank God for Russia's dashcams (seriously, do their cars come from the factory with these things installed?) This video shows a giant meteorite exploding over the sky in Russia somewhere near the Ural mountains.Reports have indicated that their may be some injuries from broken glass and some damage to buildings while cell phones stopped working. People near this event said it was so loud it resembled thunder and an earthquake at the same time.

Conspiracy theorists have already posited that this is not a meteor but some sort of military warplane or alien landing. I am surprised the Russians didn't think it was a nuke from the USA and send one back. We're going to go ahead and assume that this is just a meteorite. But easily the second best part of this video is that the lunatic guy driving his car doesn't seem fazed at all, despite nearly being taken out by a giant space rock. He just keeps cruising around, listening to crappy techno music. Seriously who still listens to techno music?

This is one sexy commercial. Not quite sure what it has to do with a "Cod fish sandwich" , which sounds pretty rough to me but it's a cool commercial anyway. I love food. I love cooking it and I love eating it. This bacon festival in Iowa got my attention. The annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival event featured more than 10,000 pounds of bacon served in unusual ways, such as chocolate-dipped bacon and bacon-flavored cupcakes and gelato. Other events scheduled included lectures about bacon and an eating competition. The festival was preceded earlier in the week with a bacon queen pageant (I have my doubts about this) and a pig pardon (seriously they actually pardon a pig) by Gov Terry Branstad. Festival co-founder Brooks Reynolds, who officially started the event just a few years ago, said it is become the largest bacon showcase in the world.

After an 8-year hiatus Red Bull King of the Air has returned with a new format, new location and the mission to bring back the wow factor to kiteboarding. Cape Town's famous Table Mountain was the perfect backdrop for the world's top 24 kiteboarders to face-off in the unique 'flag out' competition format. Sho these guys get some serious altitude. This is well worth watching.

At long last finally someone worth following on twitter. Of all the animals to follow on Twitter, @hostile_goose should be at the top of your list. This feathered dude really seems to have a lot on his mind. Anyway facebook is so 2012...twitter is the way to go in 2013.

A receptionist at an oil industry services company in Aberdeen (thats Scotland for those of you not geographically inclined), accidentally forwarded the intimate messages between her and her fiancé to their entire office. She sent a short email to her colleagues at Integrated Subsea Services (ISS)Ltd yesterday morning to tell them that the sandwich van was outside. However, she accidentally wrote the message on top of the chain of private emails she had been swapping with her fiance, and so the full exchange was seen by everyone in the office.

Very amusing story on News24 caught my attention. Apparently about 15 000 crocodiles escaped from the Rakwena crocodile farm near Pontdrif after the Limpopo River came down in flood on Sunday evening. WTF? Limpopo has got to be the worst place on the face of the planet to live at the moment. Let me get this straight they have corruption and non-delivery of service, non-delivery of textbooks, Julius Malema and his cohorts running around, illegal foreigners, raging flood, witchcraft and now 15 000 crocodiles running around. They should seriously think about relocating these crocodiles to the border to help curb illegal immigrants entering SA.

I came across a rather unusual article in The Telegraph this morning. A study has found that women look their oldest at 3.30pm every Wednesday because that is when their energy levels plummet, work stress is at a peak and the effects of any weekend late nights finally kick in. One side of thinks who ever paid for this study should be shot while the other side thinks that men need to store this piece of information and watch what you say around women on Wednesdays at 3.30pm. 3.30pm Wednesday is probably not a great time to tell her that she has picked up a bit of weight.

I was forced to watch an episode of "The Bachelor" the other day. What a painful experience. From what I can make out a bunch of very silly women are desperate to get married. They take it in turns to try and woo some guy into marrying one of them on national television. The only part worth watching is the ranting and raving by each woman who doesn't receive a rose and is thereby eliminated. And the best part of those rants are the faces the women make in the process. The brilliant tumblr, Faces of Rejected Bachelorettes brings us the best of those freeze frames. This is just totally freaky and insane. A man (insane lunatic) climbed onto the stage and pointed a gun at the head of Bulgarian opposition leader Ahmed Dogan during a televised news conference onSaturday. The only reason that the guy survived the attack was because the pistol jammed. After a few seconds of confusion and screaming, the assailant was wrestled to the ground and attacked by delegates at the conference. He was then dragged off the premises by security. It was later revealed that police removed a gas pistol and two knives from the attacker, identified as being 25-year-old Oktai Enimehmedov.

A Florida angler dangles his hand from the edge of a jetty as he tries to lure the Big Fish swimming beneath him. I don't think the man in question, Ryan Reynolds, had the faintest clue what was about to happen. I don't think he will be sticking in hand in the water again any time soon. I must warn you that there is a rather annoying woman who screams though out this video like a baby.

And the website of the day is Where the Fuck Should I Go For Drinks? It pretty much does what it says: It tells you where the fuck to get some fucking drinks. It is a foul-mouthed but brilliant web app that will help you locate a bar close by. The site is by British creative consultancy coolography and was inspired by the similarly coarse What The Fuck Should I Make for Dinner?

Any man will admit that what he knows about women he would struggle to fill a A4 sheet of paper. I am not the biggest soccer fan around but if this happened more regularly I might be tempted to watch it a bit more. Two adorable puppies (I am guessing that they are retrievers) wander onto a soccer pitch right in the middle of the game. They appear to be having a blast and even enjoy getting carried off by the officials. This is definite must watch for the animal lovers out there.

The great thing about having your own blog site is that you get to blog about stuff that interests and amuses you. This news story made me laugh. Darlene Mayes looks like she should be playing Bingo at a nursing home, instead the 73 year old grannie just got busted as one of the largest marijuana suppliers in the USA. Her operation went up in smoke(no pun intended) over the weekend when police entered her home. They found 4 pounds of pot, $276,000 in cash, a semiautomatic pistol and a revolver. WTF, Grandma knows how to pack. Her network of pot smokers spanned across 4 states including Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri. I reckon loads of students out in the midwest most likely just got screwed over with grandma’s arrest. Apparently her weed accounted for 40% of all the weed in the area.

This man might have pooped in his pants and frankly who could blame him. Some guy is out texting in the middle of an alleyway in California. All of a sudden, he runs into something no human should ever have to unexpectedly encounter… A Giant Bear! The dude obviously heads in the opposite direction and he is lucky the bear doesn’t chase after him. Seeing a bear in the middle of a residential area is quite rare,but someone actually within inches of the animal is like something out of a Crocodile Dundee movie. He was smart enough though to get out of harms way by doing his best Usian Bolt impersonation.

It's official - we live in a world gone mad filled with lots of crazy people doing insane things. The Telegraph ran a story this morning about a squirrel that became stranded on a tiny island of reeds in the middle of the town centre pond in Watford, Hertfordshire. A local (moron) then called Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue to say that the animal had fallen into the water and could not climb out up the steep concrete banks. This prompted three fire engines and six professional fireman showing up to rescue a squirrel. Talk about overkill!

I managed to track down a few new phrases that I suspect are going to be pretty big in 2013. Master these and you will get through the coming year like a boss. Lets start with the phrase SALAD DODGER. This phrase is excellent for describing an overweight person. SWAMP-DONKEY is an excellent phrase for describing a deeply unattractive person while the phrase TESTICULATING is best used to describe someone who is waving their arms around and talking bollocks.

This dimwitted girl is about to interview John Cusack about his role in "Grace Is Gone," but there is just one problem: She thinks he is Kevin Spacey. This girl is a 404* (Someone who's clueless. If your Christmas was anything like mine chances are you ended up with a copy of Platters Wine Guide and a braai kit that contained a fancy set of braai tongs. Inevitably these are the things girls buy us when they really don't have a clue what we really want. Girls for future reference this is what the man in your life really wants - a radio controlled flying Superman! How cool is this? Imagine how you could freak people out with this?

Most rites of passage for young men—Communions, Bar Mitzvahs, and the rest—are fun and joyous occasions. In Vanuatu however, becoming a man involves a pretty insane ritual to prove all-around toughness. When I was a student at Stellenbosch University on occasion when we had too much to drink we used to engage in what we called "bush diving" which involved running and diving (and invariably leveling) some small harmless bush. In Vanuatu however young men engage in what they call "land diving". Boys prove their manhood (and ensure a good yam harvest) through a practice that’s similar in concept to bungee jumping, but much more deadly. Instead of elastic chords, very breakable vines are tied around the feet of boys as young as seven before they jump from a 70-90 foot tower. How insane is that?

The marketing geniuses behind Panda Cheese decided that the best way to sell their product would be by having a Panda Bear, who happens to be a complete and total asshole, ruin the days of people not using Panda Cheese. I don't know if the ads boosted their sales, but they sure as hell boosted the number of laughs I get.

Seriously people am I the only one who sees a rather depressing trend here? It would appear that once they hit on a winning formula they just stick with it. If there are any hot designers out there not quite sure what to do with 2013 may I suggest you head to Hollywood and help these movie producers out. For all those South Africans complaining about the potholes in our roads you need to check this out. This is what a real pothole looks like. A 21 year-old from  County Cork in Ireland was alerted to the pothole by a friend, and after testing its depth with a stick, decided to have some fun. "When I saw it I said I wouldn't get a chance like it again. It was freshwater from a water main, so it wasn't dirty, I didn't mind doing it," Liam Keane told RTE News. The pothole, which was caused by a burst water main, has since been filled in,but the video of his post-Christmas swim has become a viral sensation with over 200,000 views.

This is just bloody brilliant. Every year around this time people try to figure out which song will be Number 1 at Christmas in the UK. This was brilliantly staged in the classic movie Love Actually. Well this year London fish monger Muhammad Shahid Nazir, who is better known as the £1 Fish Man, has released a song in the hopes of securing the coveted Christmas number one slot.

We all know that the office environment can be pretty tense at the best of times. Whether it’s because they “forgot” to include you in that last round of coffee or forwarded the address of your personal blog to your boss (specifically the entry where you likened them to a fascist dictator and/or admitted to snogging their spouse at the last Christmas party), chances are there’s at least somebody in your workplace that you hold some kind of grudge against. If you are going to suffer from a phobia and you are a guy you better pray to the Gods that you don't suffer from Caligynephobia. Caligynephobia is a form of gynophobia, which is the fear of all women. However, caligynephobia is directed towards good looking females. Ouch so that explains why some guys don't date the lookers! It can be an extremely disruptive social phobia (no shit), depending on the level of damage. The symptoms include rapid breathing, shortness of breath, irregular heart beat, nausea, sweating, panic attacks, and feelings of dread. There can also be individualized specific responses to this phobia. Some common approaches to treating the disorder are systematic desensitization and cognitive behavioral therapies. Personally I think the best treatement would just be to go out and score with loads of hotties.

This is probably the funniest phone call ever made to a radio station. This just proves that there are some very stupid people out there. A woman who has become known as Donna the Deer Lady calls a local radio station in Fargo, North Dakota, complaining that deer crossings are encouraging deer to cross busy roads. "Why are we encouraging deer to cross at the interstate?" she asks. The presenter makes a brief attempt to explain that deer crossing signs are to warn motorists of areas with large deer population, rather than for the benefit of the deer, before giving up and agreeing to publicize her concerns.

I don't normally like people messing around with mother nature too much but I thought this worth punting. Australian researchers are working on a new breed of pineapple - one that is not only sweet and juicy but which has the added tropical taste of coconut.

Two years ago, scientists in Queensland, which has a warm climate and produces various tropical fruits, developed Australia's first home-grown pineapple, called the Australian Jubilee. Most Australian pineapples are Hawaiian-bred varieties. Queensland produces more than 80,000 tons of pineapples a year butthe government has been looking to create less costly and tastier varieties to compete with cheaper imports.

This is kind of weird. According to a study released Monday, 32% of people in the United States aged 18 to 24 say they use social networking in the bathroom. The same report from marketing research firms Nielsen and NM Incite also found that 51% of US adults between 25 and 34 use social networking in the office -- more than any other age group. While personal computers remain the primary tools for logging onto sites like Facebook and Twitter, the report -- posted at blog.nielsen.com -- noted a significant increase in the use of cellphones and tablets as well. The Urban Dictionary defines photobombing as "an otherwise normal photo that has been ruined or spoiled by someone who was not supposed to be in the photograph." In a nutshell what is happening in the background attracts the focus from what it was originally meant for. Like most things in life it isn't as easy as it seems. Good photobombing requires skill, practice, good timing, a fair bit of luck and above all a desire to ruins somebodies special moment.

I have absolutely no friggin idea what this interview was supposed to be about. When this nutter of a woman was interviewed by a local news crew, she decided to share that she has flashed the vacuum cleaner man, whoever that is. She then goes on to explain that she is "not allowed to drive." She ends the clip by offering to lift her shirt once again before the reporter decides wisely that the interview is pretty much over.

As far as I am concerned there are only three types of people in this world. Lions, sheep and insects. After planking and batmanning, the web world now has milking - a new internet craze sparked by a Newcastle student after he posted this video on his Facebook account. The craze that is 'milking', the act of buying milk and pouring over one's head in public ( seriously I couldn't make this up if I tried), has spread to Oxford, Edinburgh and other parts of the UK after a group of students in Newcastle posted a video of themselves performing the stunt online. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Tom Morris, 22, one of the students behind the compilation video, said: ‘We were just in our kitchen talking about doing it outside Starbucks and thought it would be really funny." "We did that, uploaded the video to Facebook and got a load of likes. So then we thought why not just make a video?’

I can quite honestly say after watching this that I have no idea what it's about but still found myself laughing. What I can say is that a guy driving a tractor jumps out while it is moving, strips down buck naked and then turns himself into a bale of hay. Looks like this is how Spongebob was born!

Man this would freak me out. Most hidden camera pranks involve something really silly. The Brazilian TV show Programa Silvio Santos has taken things to a whole new level. Step one: Trap unsuspecting guests in a broken down elevator. Step two: Cut the lights. Step three: Unleash a disheveled little girl holding a creepy baby doll through a trap door. Now it's time for the fun to begin. Cue the lights, screaming, potential heart attacks and lawsuits and, in for the final touch, a totally out of place laugh track that makes this video all the more bizarre. It's a pretty sure bet that all of these people will be taking the stairs for the rest of their lives.

Can anyone tell me how they did this? The only explanation I can think of is that there are more than two people involved here. Anybody know?

The internet is filled with loads of videos and stories of people doing some pretty stupid things. Most of the culprits are young dumb drunk adolescent teenagers but this takes the cake. Once a year In Spain a festival is held called El Colacho. Babies that were born in the last 12 months are lined up on mattresses in a street. Grown men then dress up as the devil (in yellow for some reason) and jump over the babies while the whole town turns up to cheer them on. Apparently this is a religious festival which doesn't surprise me since people can pretty much justify anything by hiding behind religious beliefs. This is very wrong people!

Who said adults don't take Christmas seriously. According to an article in the Sun this Christmas tree has been slammed as the worst decorated Christmas tree in Britain - after crowds booed it at the switch-on. A crowd of over 1,000 was left stunned by the “shocking” lights when pantomime stars Gareth Gates and Toyah Wilcox flicked the switch. Onlookers broke into spontaneous boos and jeers when the anti-climactic display of lights - which barely covered the tree - flickered into life.

An now for something completely different. News24 reports that a naked man brought parts of central London to a standstill on Friday after he installed himself on a statue near Prime Minister David Cameron's office for nearly three hours. He braved the November cold and gawking crowds to straddle the monument to Prince George, a19th century military chief and one-time Duke of Cambridge, adopting various poses including balancing precariously on the prince's head.

I though this was brilliant. This exert is from a debate on the existence of God between an athiest and a creationist. You can watch the entire debate here… or you can check out this highlight,in which an 11-year-old boy challenges the creationist with a question and the creationsist implodes with an answer that makes no sense whatsoever. According to this guy none of us know anything unless God reveals it to us. What I liked about this is that the youngster isn't afraid to ask questions and challenge an older person. If only more people had the guts to ask the questions that really matter.

Talk about stating the obvious. A new study conducted in New Zealand has confirmed that humans prefer having sex and getting drunk to doing housework and commuting to work. I can't believe someone got paid to prove that theory. The most shocking conclusion from the study: Doing housework brought people more pleasure than going on Facebook. Now that I can believe.

We will make her a…motherfucking quiche.” College Humor released this "PSA" style video that warns homophobic men to start supporting marriage equality or watch their girlfriends get hitched to gay men. In addition to gym-going mornings and evenings at Broadway shows, these guys promise to snack on Pinkberry and hummus and to make a breakfast quiche. That's right, they said a "motherfucking quiche".

Hardee's is the fifth biggest fast food chain in the USA.  What I like about Hardees is that they have a kick ass advertising campaign which focuses on two things both guarenteed to appeal to men - sexy women and hamburgers. Their message is simple "Hot women eat at Hardees, hot women make out with Hardees hamburgers, if you eat at Hardees you will make out with hot women therefore you should eat at Hardees". You can't argue with that logic can you? I managed to track down a few of their commercials which make for some hot and steamy viewing. I really don't know why we are all s excited about Burger King coming to South Africa next year when we don't have Hardees.

An internet advert called 'Dumb Ways to Die' has become the Gangnam Style of train safety campaigns, clocking up more than 8.5 million YouTube views and 13,000 odd comments. Dumb Ways to Die is a beautifully animated Melbourne Metro Trains transport safety ad which features colourful characters singing a catchy tune as they set fire to their hair, poke a stick at a grisly bear, get their toast out with a fork or use their private parts for piranha bait. The video is also designed to demonstrate the danger and stupidity of playing on train platforms, tracks and level crossings. The myriad of other dumb ways to die illustrate the stupidity of messing around with trains. The song is performed by Melbourne artist Tangerine Kitty, the song was produced by Cat Empire keyboards player Ollie McGill.

I thought this years American Music Awards was pretty dull. Justin Bieber took home the most trophies which irritated me no end, There was a special "Gangnam Style" performance by MC Hammer which I thought was pretty cool. Its well worth a look and has already racked up over 400 000 hits on Youtube in just over a day. You cant touch this!

I stumbled upon this news article by chance. When I was a kid I loved listening to my mother reading a Christmas Carol to me. It turns out that a sequel has been written entitled "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge". The sequel takes the form of a play and centers on Scrooge's decision to sue the ghosts of Christmas and his late business partner Jacob Marley for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander and inflicting emotional distress. I bet the Ghost of Christmas Future didn't see that one coming!

Kate Moss has disclosed that Lucian Freud, the late artist, inked a tattoo on her lower back which is worth more than £1million. Apparently this estimate is said to be very conservative so it could be worth a lot more. I am guessing that this is probably the most expensive tattoo ever. The 38-year-old model befriended Freud, considered one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, in 2002. He subsequently told her how he used to give homemade tattoos using permanent ink and a scalpal when he was in the Merchant Navy during World War II. Ouch that sounds painful!

OK we all know how cool the Bond movies are. The combination of beautiful women, violence and some pretty impressive gadgets makes it a no brainer for most guys. The latest installment, Skyfall, has yet to be released in South Africa but I came across a very interesting article that made a very important point. How many times have we read those tragic stories about young children who find their fathers gun and kill either themselves or their friends or the burglar who uses a stolen gun to kill someone else. I really don't know how I managed to get through watching this video. Apparently there is a new Afrikaans heartthrob/singer on the music scene. My Afrikaans is not great but my understanding is that the guy singing the song is trying to win the attention of some girl who he thinks is "supercool". For good measure the singer has gone and incorporated some Gangnam Style dance moves into his routine. 2OceansVibe did a really good review of this video and the comments make for hilarious reading. He also has a Facebook page with some rather amusing comments on it.

I had never even heard of this guy until this morning. Last night England were beaten 4 - 2 by Sweden.All of Swedens four goals were scored by Zlatan Ibrahimovic - including an amazing overhead kick - which is rated as possibly the best goal ever. Apparently even the English football fans were applauding him towards the end of the game.

I am embarrassed to say that I really don't follow or know very much about South African soccer. I came across this post on Lifeissavage and thought it was well worthy of reposting. It turns out that Orlando Pirates have a guy called Andile Jali who plays for them. English not being his strong suite his friends suggested he prepare answers for interviews in advance with hilarious results. If there were more interviews like this I would be a die hard football fan.

During a practice run for an extreme sports event in Colorado called the Buffalo Bill Downhill Bloodspill (Sho...thats one hell of a name), skateboarder Ryan Vitale had a rather unusual encounter with a deer. As he was flying down a hill at approximately 65 kmph, a freaked out deer tried to cross the road and wasn't able to make it past Vitale. They take a nasty spill together, but are reportedly both OK somehow. The reaction from the camera man is priceless. Needless to say this video went viral.

Very interesting story in the Telegraph this morning. Police in China found about 10 000 bottles of Chateau Lafite Rothschild red wine in an abandoned house. Police are yet to determine whether the wine - one of the most expensive reds in the world - is fake or genuine but if they are the real they could be worth up to £10 million. The home owner denied knowing anything about it. No kidding!

This is the best news I have heard all day. Burger King is looking to open it's first fast food outlets in South Africa next year. Founded in 1954, Burger King is the second-largest hamburger chain in the world. The original "Home of the Whopper", it operates in more than12,600 locations worldwide, serving an estimated 11-million customers daily in 83 countries.

I really don't know what to make of this. Some guy has put a video slideshow "of sorts" up on Youtube. I don't know how best to describe what you are about to see other than to tell you that it features a man, his favorite pairs of shoes and the song "Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey. I guess the really important question is who was taking the pictures?

I spent some time going through the news headlines and am pleased to say that it seems pretty quiet out there. I found a few stories that caught my attention though which you may find interesting. We got some drunk elephants on the rampage in India, Donald Trump loosing it on Twitter and a bar that floated onto some lucky guys back yard.

This is a really weird story. A bride and groom had their big day ruined when a flasher burst into the church during their marriage vows and gave them an eyeful of his wedding tackle. Twice.The unlucky couple were standing in front of the vicar when the shutters above the altar suddenly opened to reveal the naked stranger with his arms aloft. The bride can be heard whispering: “Oh my god. Get him out. Turn around. Please get him out.” The man then closes the shutters, before re-appearing in all his glory as the shocked congregation gasps. I couldn't help but think when watching this video that the bride knows who the flasher is. I am guessing a jilted bitter ex of sorts.

This is perhaps one of the best concepts anyone has ever come up with. Seriously this is on a par with the guy who invented the wheel and possibly even reading and writing. Take two of our favourite things in life – sport and women in underwear –and combine them. Who ever invented this deserves some serious respect. The nice thing about growing up with a children’s book series is that when you finally are grown-up, you can make some of your childhood fantasies into realities, like marrying your best friend or practicing the dark arts, or most importantly, playing Quidditch Beer Pong. There are a few different versions of the rules floating around, but the “official” version, courtesy of the much-inspired Louie’s Loops, is played with Butterbeer (obviously), and ends the game with the highly explosive Expelliarmus shot (for you know, when gamesmanship and schoolyard diplomacy just ain’t gonna cut it).
